Monday House Group

MONDAY HOUSE GROUP

This group meets in one of our member's homes on alternate Monday afternoons from 2-4pm. The time together is essentially a time of fellowship, during which we  follow a course of Bible study and discussion.

We are a small group of usually eight or nine, who bring with them to the group a variety of different spiritual experiences. We seek to build each other up and to learn from sharing together our different understanding of the Christian faith.

Our discussions are stimulating and meaningful, and we often have to agree to disagree !

Recently, during Lent, we followed a York course based on the Lord's Prayer, and for our next session we will be following a bible Study course produced by the Bible Lands Society.

We close our meetings with prayers, and with an informal  time together over a cup of tea. New members are welcome at any time. For more details speak to Pat Paddon, who leads the group, or Barbara Cooper who normally acts as our host.
